Bradford Council Fostering Service is an inclusive service and we welcome everyone to come forward to foster.

Whether you identity as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning or heterosexual, if you are interested in fostering we want to hear from you.

You can apply to foster if you are single, married or living with a partner. What matters most is that you have the time, care and commitment needed to provide a loving home for a vulnerable young person.

All foster carers registered with Bradford Council who identify as LGBTQ will receive membership to New Family Social.

New Family Social is a charity led by LGBT+ adopters and foster carers. They offer peer support to LGBT+ foster carers and adopters and have online forums where members can get advice and support.
